On Friday, the 8th of September, a bug was identified in the staking contract despite having been audited. The bug did not impact delegators’ or operators’ staked assets. Rather, it impacted how much CQT could be redeemed as a reward. The appropriate actions, which included pausing the staking functions (e.g. stake, redeem rewards etc.), have since been followed to address the bug, and an upgrade will be deployed early next week. At this time, the staking functions will resume. Furthermore, a new round of audits is being scheduled for Q4 to ensure security is maintained. We appreciate your patience during this time and value all of the feedback the community has shared in addressing the bug. 🫡
